  • Founded in 2020 under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model between the Government of Gujarat and Rudraksh Academy Pvt. Ltd., part of the Health Policy 2016 framework .

  • Affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC)

 

Academic Programs & Seat Intake

  • MBBS Program Only: No postgraduate programs are currently offered; only undergraduate MBBS is available .

  • Seat Intake:

    • Initially 150 MBBS seats (2020–2021) .

    • Increased to 200 seats in 2022 .

    • However, a recent National Medical Commission (NMC) inspection has reduced 50 seats, bringing the total back to 150 seats .

  • The college is located on the New Civil Hospital Campus in Bharuch, with a modern infrastructure setup .

Admission & Eligibility

  • Admissions are through the NEET-UG exam followed by Gujarat state counseling via ACPUGMEC, adhering to quota categories (government/state, management, NRI) .

  • Eligibility criteria: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English; minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) . Candidates must also be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year .
