Kathmandu Medical University
Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), located in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a private medical institute established in 1997. It is permanently affiliated with Kathmandu University and is recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India.

Admission and eligibility for MBBS program :-
- For Nepali candidates: Admission is through the Medical Education Commission (MEC) of Nepal.
- For international candidates (including Indian students):
- Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed their 12th-grade examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and secured a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- Entrance exam: Candidates must qualify for the entrance exam conducted by the medical universities in Nepal. Indian students are also required to clear the NEET-UG entrance exam.
- Course structure: The MBBS program has a duration of five and a half years, which includes four and a half years of academic study and a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
