Kazakh National Medical University

The Kazakh National Medical University is officially known as the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU). Located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, it is considered one of the country's leading medical institutions and was designated a national university in 2001.

• It gained “national university” status in 2001 by the government of Kazakhstan.
