Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu

Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital (LCMCH) is a private medical institution located in Bishrampur, Palamu district, Jharkhand, India. Established in 2021, it is affiliated with Ramchandra Chandravansi University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The Ramchandra Chandravansi Welfare Trust (RCWT) manages LCMCH and the Chandravansi Group of Institutions.

Programs offered

LCMCH offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program with an intake of 100 students per year. The program lasts 5.5 years, which includes a required internship. 

Fee structure (MBBS)

Fees for the MBBS program include one-time fees such as admission and medical test fees, and a refundable caution deposit. Annual fees cover tuition, development/miscellaneous facilities, and hostel/fooding charges. 

Eligibility and admission

To be eligible, candidates must pass the 10+2 exam with specific science subjects and English, meeting minimum aggregate marks based on category. Candidates must also be at least 17 years old. Admission is based on the NEET-UG exam results, with candidates required to register through JCECEB for counselling. 

Facilities

The attached multi-specialty teaching hospital has around 330 beds and provides clinical training in various departments. The hospital infrastructure includes emergency care, ICU, operation theaters, diagnostic labs, and a blood bank. Student amenities include on-campus hostels and a cafeteria.
