K. J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre (KJSMC) is a private medical college located in the Somaiya Ayurvihar Complex in Sion, Mumbai, India. Established in 1991 by Padmabhushan (late) Pujya Shri Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya, it's owned and managed by the Somaiya Medical Trust. It is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Campus and facilities
KJSMC is situated on a 22.5-acre campus in Mumbai. The campus includes a 550-bed general hospital and a 56-bed super-specialty hospital. The hospital acts as a teaching hospital for the college and offers modern yet affordable healthcare services.
The college has well-equipped classrooms, practical laboratories, museums, an air-conditioned library, and skills laboratories. It also provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with lodging, boarding, and recreation facilities, along with 24/7 security. There is a Central Library spread over 16,000 sq ft with a seating capacity of 200 students and a collection of 14,620 books and 61 journals.
Student life
The college encourages student participation in various co-curricular activities, including academic, cultural, and sports events. "Aakarshan", the annual college festival, provides a platform for students to showcase their talents. Students also participate in intercollegiate competitions.
The campus has a football ground, cricket ground, skating rink, badminton court, table tennis facilities and a gym. The canteen provides vegetarian meals.
Admission and fees
Admission to MBBS is based on NEET UG scores, while admission to MD/MS programs requires NEET PG scores. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, including completing 10+2 with PCB and English and securing an aggregate of 50%.
The approximate first-year fees for MBBS is ₹11.38 lakhs, and the total tuition fees for the entire duration are around ₹56.27 lakhs. The total tuition fees for MD and MS are around ₹27.1 lakhs. Hostel and mess charges are extra.
It is important to note that direct admissions for MBBS are not possible, and all admissions are based on NEET scores and the counseling process conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.
